Following my experimentation with in-camera effects, i wanted to see the difference between creating the effect without and with photoshop. You can get similar effects using both sources, however i think using manual substances without photoshop makes a more realistic image. To create this effect, i first duplicated the layer (while using photoshop) then went to filter,blur then gaussian blur. This makes the whole image blurred. I then added a vector mask and erased certain parts that i wanted to make clear. I prefer my first image as I think the choice of 'erased area' worked effectively.
Vignette.
To create this effect, using photoshop you first have to duplicate the layer, then add a new layer and fill it in black. After this, increase the eraser tool and erase the black parts were you want to reveal the picture underneath. I also decreased the opacity to 75% to make it easier to erase.
Colour filter.
Firstly to create this effect, using photoshop i went on image, adjustments then photo filter. I then chose to filter the picture a green color as it is a cooling shade and would compliment the colours of the image.
